Subject: Fire Hazard Abatement

The City of Angels will be conducting our annual fire hazard reduction program beginning in April. The objective is to remove vegetation that can readily ignite and carry fire to your home and neighborhood properties. Emphasis will be on the early removal and continuous monitoring of fire hazards within the City Limits. Property owners must provide for the reduction and removal of vegetation that presents a fire hazard. The City of Angels is encouraging all property owners to get an early start and plan to have your hazard reduction done annually by the end of May. Should you not be able to accomplish this yourself, you should plan to locate and hire professionals to remove these problems for you by the end of May. Notices of violation regarding these issues will require immediate attention or a citation will be issued and a fine imposed.
