City of Angels (incorporated in 1912) is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Angels Camp is the fastest growing City in the Northern California Central Valley region, home of Mark Twain's "Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County" , the annual Jumping Frog Jubilee and some of California's finest outdoor recreation.
